Justen: Real Estate, Real Life, 3 Minutes or Less

iHOMES COLORADO coming to you

I have Korey Wacker with me today

And the reason being we are going to talk about something very exciting

And what that is, is housing

But housing in a different type of market that some of us are used to

So when you think about real life droughts

Well, you think about things like not being able to water our lawns

You think about things like fires

Serious matters that can lead to a lot of concerns with people

So the other thing though when we think about real estate droughts

Which, the National Association of Realtors just declared

18 years ago they started monitoring markets

And we are historically in the lowest inventory

Of a housing drought than we ever have been nationally

And so when you start thinking about how serious real life droughts are

You think about some people’s dating droughts

How serious that can feel

Is a housing drought, right?

Can lead to a ton of emotions

For people when it comes to

Am I able to go do some of the things I want to do with housing?

And one of the great things about a low inventory market is

The ability for demand to continue to remain after you purchase a home

When you start thinking about some of the things you’re able to do when you purchase a home in a low inventory market

You’re able to build some equity in a very short period of time

One year, two years

And you’re able to start using some of that money

In this low inventory market to make some good decisions for your family

Due to the fact that you made that decision to buy that home

Is well, those are the great things

But for a lot of people

They can see a housing drought the same way that they do

A normal drought

Which is fears, concerns

And things of a serious nature

And so when it comes to why I have Korey Wacker with me here today is

Well how do you get through a housing drought?

The same way that you would any other serious nature

Korey, what are a couple tips that you have for us

When it comes to things that people can do

In finding a home in a low inventory market?

Korey: Absolutely, and thank you for having me here

I’m excited to be here

And I just want to bring to you guys

Two main focuses in being a home buyer in this one amazing market

And, obviously it’s amazing and challenging at the same time, so

The first thing that I really want you to think about as an individual

And for your family is

Understanding ‘Why?’

The true ‘Why?’ behind your reasons of wanting to be in a new home

And so as soon as you’re able to understand that ‘Why?’

You now have a better understanding

Of what you’re fighting for throughout this process

And that’s truly the most important thing

Is really understanding your ‘Why?’ from yourself, your family

And anyone who is going to be related in this purchase

And the second part of that in understanding that ‘Why?’ is

Now, finding a real estate professional that’s going to guide you

In the process of financials

Guide you in the process of strategies

In order to obtain the home of your dreams

And, as far as the real estate market goes

Having that support

Is going to make the difference in you and your family

Being in the home that you love

Justen: Nice

And so the best part about that when I hear it

Is just really when you think of a typical drought

Or you think of a housing drought or low inventory is

You need support and you need community

And just the same way that we all make sacrifices

To get through droughts

Is the same thing here

The sacrifices made to help our community find the homes in a low inventory market

So, if you need help

If you have questions

You’ve got people like Korey Wacker

And a lot of other amazing agents who work as a team

To help you in this low inventory market in finding a home

And so again,

In It For You
